As a kid I’d always ask my mom to make biscuit pudding. Sometimes she’d bring those fancy ones from the store but nothing could beat my mom’s homemade version of the rich and creamy biscuit pudding. With Delicious layers of plain biscuits (Marie biscuits as we call them) and chocolate buttercream, this dessert is mouthwatering and ideal for any occasion.

Ingredients:

200g powdered sugar

200g softened butter

1 cup milk for dipping

1 egg

3 tbsp cocoa powder

Method:

In a mixing bowl, beat together butter and sugar.

Add the egg and beat well.

Add cocoa powder and mix.

Beat the mixture until it’s smooth and creamy.

Spread a thin layer of buttercream in a container.

Dip biscuits in milk and place them in the container.

Alternate layers of biscuits and buttercream.

Add a last layer of buttercream and sprinkle with shaved chocolate or anything you’d like.

Chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours and enjoy!
